What is the value of tracing images? When is it okay to copy something? When can it get you in trouble? Relate this to your work in this class.
The value of tracing is that it allows people to effectively draw an image without free-handing it. It essentially allows the average Joe to become a Michelangelo. It is also quicker to trace.
ReplyDeleteIt is okay when it is either approved that you can copy it or it is used for nonprofit use.
You can get in trouble for it if you use someones work to make profit.
I feel like we can copy in here because we essentially are putting the work in and not making a profit by selling the artwork.
